Important qualification renewal information
A First Aider can renew their qualification by attending a 2-day requalification course if:
• Their First Aid at Work certificate is still valid
• Their qualification expired within the last 1 month
If a qualification has expired by more than 1 month but less than 3 months, a learner may still attend the 2-day requalification course if special considerations are applied.
This may require:
• A signed letter from the employer confirming the learner has sufficient experience
• Approval from the training provider following discussion with the employer or learner
If the qualification has expired by more than 3 months, the learner must complete the full 3-day First Aid at Work course again.
